WHEN'S THE NEXT GRAFITARNICA WORKSHOP?
GRAFFITI & STENCIL WORKSHOP (3 hours)
Would you like to create your own graffiti ‘tag’, your own ‘throw-up,’ and come up with an awesome stencil design while you’re at it? Do you want to be introduced to spray-painting techniques? Here’s a introductory street art workshop just for you! Under the guidance of local graffiti artists you will learn all the practical stuff about doing graffiti and stencils and be let in on a bunch of spray-painting tricks. Join our regular "Grafitarnica" Workshop or let us know when you’d like your workshop to start, how many you are, and what are your preferences!
STENCIL WORKSHOP (2 hours)
Do you want to learn how to make your own stencil? Our 2-hour introductory stencil workshop has been designed by local street artists to give you a chance to experience working within this medium. You will learn how to create a stencil from your own design (or from a range of pre-prepared images), how to best handle a spray can, as well as all the do's and don'ts of stencil creativity. Join the Grafitarnica Workshop or give us a shout and let’s work out the details of your customized workshop together!
All our workshops kick off with a professional demonstration and an introduction to high-quality spray cans and spray painting in general. After the step-by-step demo and the intro you will get the chance to do your own stencils and graffiti for quite some time, instructed by one or two professional street artists (depending on the size of the group), and finish it all off by creating your own stickers and taking your work home. Oh, have we mentioned that you will be using professional spray cans at the workshop? No? Well you will!:)
All our workshops are designed for either individuals or pre-reserved groups (a maximum of 25 persons) and are specially tailored to the needs of graffiti beginners (kids, teenagers and adults alike). We provide you with all the necessary stuff to have a relaxed and creative workshop, including all the materials needed (spray paint, acetate, cutting mat, knife, gloves, markers, pre-made images, and blank stickers). The workshops take place at Metelkova City Autonomous Cultural Zone, namely at the gated and amazingly colourful outdoor space of the Gala Hala Summer Garden (in warm weather) or in the Gala Hala club itself (when it's cold) .
